PATENT 1: Modern hospital systems operate across fragmented enterprise platforms, including electronic health records (EHR), diagnostic systems, pharmacy management, billing systems, and physical documentation archives. During clinical encounters, patient medical data is often: Distributed across multiple digital systems Partially maintained in physical files Stored in non-standardized formats Difficult to retrieve in real-time Presented in non-intuitive, text-heavy interfaces In high-volume hospital environments observed in Salt Lake City, healthcare professionals operate under significant time constraints. As a result: Providers are unable to review a patient’s complete longitudinal health history during consultations Critical data (prior diagnoses, medication conflicts, chronic conditions, lab trends) may be overlooked Clinical decisions are made based on partial information Patient experience suffers due to repetitive questioning and redundant data collection Existing systems focus on data storage rather than intelligent presentation. There is a lack of an integrated, visual, context-aware interface that consolidates patient health information into a seamless, comprehensible format that supports rapid clinical decision-making. Thus, there exists a need for a system and method that integrates disparate patient data sources and presents them in a unified, visually optimized, decision-support interface to improve care efficiency and quality.

solution

The invention provides a system and method for seamless visual presentation of integrated patient medical information. It aggregates data from multiple hospital systems, including EHR, labs, pharmacy, imaging, billing, and scanned records, and normalizes it into a unified structure. The system intelligently organizes information by timeline and clinical relevance, highlighting key events, trends, alerts, and risks. A real-time visual interface presents consolidated patient data through structured views such as timelines, condition groupings, medication history, and diagnostic trends. The interface adapts based on clinician role and encounter type, surfacing the most relevant information first. The system supports decision-making by identifying anomalies, conflicts, and missing data, reducing cognitive load and enabling faster, more informed care. Technical Advantage Compared to traditional EHR systems that display static, fragmented records, this invention transforms multi-source data into an interactive, clinician-centered interface, improving efficiency, reducing errors, enhancing patient experience, and enabling scalable enterprise integration.

PATENT 2:

PROBLEM: Patent - connected worker Dashboard: All these brought disparate Software Solutions. The goal was to replace the legacy business tools from acquired businesses with latest software tool with user friendly capabilities. Customer Goal - Safety, Productivity, Compliance, Marketing Goal - Unified Brand, Agile Time to Market, Value Add Applications, Platform Ecosystems, Scalable Revenue Model. Engineering Goal - Extensible Platform, Agile Development & Delivery, UX Goal -  Easy to install, use & maintain, End to End experience, Common design language.

SOLUTION: Gas Detection Software Platform that integrates current / future devices and provides a rich portfolio of networked applications thereby reducing total cost of ownership and supporting sustained revenue growth applications.Deliver a gas analytics and compliance tool that makes sure devices are tested for compliance and running and alerts the worker in case of emergency.

MY ROLE: I owned the delivery of the experience for the Safety & Productivity Suite. I built the team ground up by hiring, training and coaching on domain as well as UX processes within the organisation.Leading a team of 25 designers, I delivered a suite of Safety and productivity products ranging from mobile apps to web apps. This role required me to lead researchers to identify the needs of workers in the Gas Industry and oil refineries.Mentor designers to design experience for the whole suite of products, grow and lead design team, and coordinate with cross-functional teams and global design teams.

One of my ideas was granted a patent and it is turned into a key feature of this huge product suite.

4 of the team members also filed various patents on different solutions they designed.
