My daughter started baking and cooking since she was 4 years old, her dream to write a cookbook kicked off. Many milestones of learning technology to design were reached apart from exploring the skill of cooking, new dreams got build as she saw the world around.

After 4 years of hard work, 14 year old Raina's dream of writing her Cookbook is coming true. Raina started work on it in 2018 and put up a vision board. Every year the date moved further when she realised that she need to learn something new or get better at it. It is finally coming true this year. While the art of cooking got her hooked, the science and tech of recipe and book design got her to the finish line.

In her Instagram, she is sharing her journey and how her cookbook is unique and how anyone can cook everyday food, comfort food or celebration food with limited skills or equipment using this book.

The aim of this exercise was for her to learn some life skills like cooking, being resilient, failing forwards, manifesting, being kind, giving to others, reading books, and design thinking along with tech skills for designing logos, icons, doodles using the design thought process, book design, food photography, video editing, setting up for videos and photos, food styling, brand building and many tech tools like Adobe indesign, photoshop, sketch, notion, premier, inshot, canva, Wix etc.

Kids are loving the book. Everyday we get videos and photos of children baking and cooking and reading the book through stories and anecdotes. It is the right gift to give a child to learn a life skill of cooking and baking through the summer vacation!
